When a consumer researches the quality of a product or service, they are likely to turn to the Internet to see or read different opinions and make sure whether it is a good purchase or not. This is when trust in online reviews comes into play . These types of opinions are present on different Internet platforms, from a marketplace like Amazon to a post from a friend on Facebook or on a search engine like Google. They have the characteristic of feeling like advice from friends, close and honest descriptions about the product or service.
Importance of recent online reviews to be taken into account
In our previous article, we report on how companies know how to take advantage of online reviews post by users, but to what extent are they also useful for consumers?
