Google, at our side, our friend, always at our service. I don’t know when this happen, I could try to define various dates as a turning point, but I would be wrong. What is clear is that Google at some point chang the final objective of its search engine.
We have seen how it has taken over
A large part of the mobile ecosystem and, practically, our homes, our routine and mundane nes. What we call “voice search” is much deeper than just the search input mium and actually seeks to facilitate every aspect of our life, not only informational (which it also does) but our nes to do, obtain and enjoy things.
Google Home, Google Assistant
Chromecast, Nest, etc. These are just small pieces of a future Google capable of serving us everything we ne. Think about it: everything can be made easier by business owner database a well-ucat machine and the right technology appli to it.
Google is getting closer to this happening every day
In reality, affecting our habits is something very slow and, seen from that perspective, it is entering our lives at an overwhelming spe. I am clear the exercise is us to develop analytical about this: we will all see how this happens and than they already have.
Maybe Google won’t win in the end and our everyday
Problem solver will be someone else (Alexa, Siri, GPT Chat, etc.) but it’s very clear that we’re going to be even lazier (and at the same time more efficient) than we already are. All this is certainly exciting, but let’s leave the future behind and focus on the present moment and the intention behind that mega-company that is Google.
This change of goal that occurr at
Google, of course, had to end up affecting what is “the search engine”. And it makes sense, if Google has always been orient towards “solving things for us”, why would its search box, its greatest exponent, be limit to “finding things tg data for us”? Along the way, Google stopp offering us content and start offering us solutions.
