“And in the end they did it” comes to mind after reading over and over again that success story of an entrepreneur who, after months or even struggling without many signs that he will be able to achieve it, finally triumphs with his project. If you are in a similar situation, it is always somewhat dangerous to read these kinds of stories.
I was at that point
I was that entrepreneur a little over 10 years ago. I have a superpower that I applied to my project at the time. That superpower is to be consistent. It is the ability to do the same thing for a long and prolonged period of time because that was the key for me at the time.
Everyone can succeed. All you need is perseverance. Sooner or later I’ll get there.
I was wrong. You can be disciplined malaysia whatsapp number data and work on your project without ever reaching the destination you are looking for because you don’t know that you are running in the wrong direction. It was hard for me to stop and give up because even though I was rationally aware of the situation, emotionally I was still waiting for that miracle that could come at any moment.
So how do I know if I am that entrepreneur who is getting closer to his goal?
The short answer is you can’t know.
The slightly more nuanced answer would be this:
I hadn’t done my homework at the time. I assumed regarding the type of campaign there was enough market and demand for what I was doing at the time. There was no critical mass and that wouldn’t have been difficult to find out.
So my approach to this is this: find out as much as you can before you dive headfirst into something. Repeat this exercise frequently along the way.
Then you need small wins
Don’t spend two years developing before resource data you get the first feedback from the market. The longer you stretch that time, the less likely you are to get on the right track.
Ask yourself this question too. Does what I’m doing make sense? Does my future product or service fill a real need or is it something that exists only in my dreams? Sometimes the customer doesn’t know what they want until they see the result, but you’re not Steve Jobs anyway. In fact, I’d say there are very few Steve Jobs in this world.
In 95% of cases you already have some clue that you are on the right track. If there is nothing that tells you to continue, chances are you won’t get there no matter how hard you try and how much effort you put into it.
