Even on sunny days, problems can be on the horizon. A good turnover these days should not fool us. We have several major problems in the background that we must be aware of.
We just lost our top-selling private label
This is a big one. Really big. Yesterday we decided to remove the ASIN of our top seller in order to re-upload it. It is the only solution we have right now to relaunch the product. We received a copyright claim last week. We have been thinking about how to recover the listing so that it would be active. Nothing has worked and instead of extending it further we are going to pull the band-aid, although “band-aid” is an understatement in this case.

High risk of receiving more copyright complaints

We need a less aggressive internal listing creation policy. Yes, this will cost us sales in the short term. In the medium and long term, it will save us headaches.
What I see is this. This problem could affect more listings. Lego is going out of business. Another top seller is going down. We could suddenly be at 1k in sales instead of 4k. Let’s not kid ourselves. The situation is very critical right now and we need to act quickly.
