Why don’t we apply what we already know?

The other day I read one of those posts where you stop and think about it and say to yourself, “How great!” And then… “Why didn’t I think of writing this post?” It’s one of those articles that in theory tells you something that deep down you already know, but you read it and suddenly your eyes open because you have internalized it.

That pending task that was on the fourth or fifth page

of your to-do list (that you had even forgotten  uae telegram data  existed) suddenly moves up to the top 3 and becomes one of the most important things you have to do. I recommend reading Ángel Alegre’s post and it might have the same effect on you as it had on me.

The question is: If we already know many of the things we are told or read out there, why don’t we apply them? You can already find the answer in part in this post I wrote relatively recently.

We need a third party to tell us something we already know . Although it is not always enough, sometimes it can make a difference when the message comes from someone  looking ahead: marketing and the web3 opportunity   we trust (it could be our boss, a blogger we follow, our partner, a family member, etc.). It breaks down the wall of protection we have put up to avoid having to face the problem and at the same time it can require us to commit to working definitively on the solution.
We need to look at this from a different perspective . I recently    rich data   wrote about “Marketing is empathy” which I initially titled “Different perspectives”. We are not always aware of how important it is to put ourselves in other people’s shoes to ensure that our messages reach and are heard. Your child may not be affected by not being able to go to university because of bad grades. If he realises that almost all of his friends are going and he will no longer see them, he may change his mindset.

We need to have the resources to put it into practice

the typical “if you want, you can” does not work for everyone . There are people who need more than just words to get the necessary push. We may know that our 50 kilos of excess weight is shortening our life. But we do not have any plan to live in a healthier way. We look for someone to help us because the problem is too much for us.
In short, we humans have a self-protection system that creates walls of ignorance that can sometimes destroy us. It is normal for us to function this way because if we were constantly confronted with all our problems. We would not be able to carry out our daily lives and would end up with depression.

A good way to overcome it is to face it . Like everything in life, it is a matter of training and getting used to it. Instead of ignoring the problem, think about it every day in a controlled way. Over time, you will find a solution and/or the need to solve it.

Another way to overcome problems

that you can’t solve at the moment is to ignore them . I don’t meditate, although I once said it was a task at hand. I have found a form of meditation that consists of doing tasks despite being severely pissed off. Worried, or even excited about something.

Strong emotions (especially negative ones) prevent you from thinking about other things and you can even become obsessed with them. At these times I force myself and sit down to write a post (or some other type of task). You have to clear your mind to focus on the task at hand at that moment. It is incredibly difficult but if you fight against it you can turn. What would have been a disastrous day into a productive one.
